AKC Recovery Dog Tags

I ordered so many dog tags thru the American Kennel Club Canine Animal Recovery system, which sounds that AKC have been proud of, on my first four purchased I received a nice metal collar dog tag, to my surprise the last 2 dogs that I registered I received a dog tag which was painted a some kind of an AKC logo but not metal anymore instead it's seems like a plywood or a Styrofoam, for short it sucks, this dog tags are crap man, I hate it, if you guys are planning to purchased an AKC dog tag thru AKC-CAR if I were you I won't do it, it one of those robbery in this country you'll pay $15 or more with a crappy dog tag?
